Saint Frances Cabrini currently offers a parish based athletics program for volleyball and basketball for both boys and girls, 4th-8th grade. Our focus is to provide an opportunity for students to learn the skills of the game, but also developing character through Christ.
Volleyball SFC hosts girls and boys volleyball teams, for grades 4th-8th. The season runs from August through October, with games on Friday for boys, and Saturdays for girls. Tournaments will be throughout the season and a chance to compete in the Elizabeth Seton Tournament at the end of the 8th grade season. Basketball SFC hosts girls and boys basketball teams, for grades 4th-8th. The season runs from November and goes until February, with games on Saturdays. There is a winter break scheduled for teams to enjoy the holidays as well. Tournaments are also throughout the season, with the opportunity to compete in the Padre Tournament at the end of the 8th grade season. SFC is currently involved in the Notre Dame Don Bosco League. Student Eligibility SFC follows the Archdiocese policies on student eligibility. As a parish based team, here is the criterion: -Student is enrolled and attends SFC -Students are enrolled in another school(public or private), but are enrolled in religious education with the parent/guardian being a registered member of the SFC or Saint Mary Immaculate Conception Parish. -Students are homeschooled, but are enrolled in religious education with the parent/guardian being a registered member of the SFC or St. Mary's parish
